July 28, 2013 Minister Chris Coleman GFC Youth Night Why don't we believe that good things are coming and going to happen? WE ARE the children of the ONE TRUE GOD... Matthew 9:1-9 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. 2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. 3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. 4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? 5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? 6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. 7 And he arose, and departed to his house. 8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. 9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. It's all in the heart set. verse 4 - notice others were talking behind his back not to HIM Matthew 9:18-25 18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. 19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. 23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, 24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. 25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. When we pray - its a guessing game instead of knowing prayers will be answered. When did we loose that expectation. When we do what we ought to do; then you should be expecting. verse 9 states: "Follow Me" I'm following Him and I am expecting. Believe: Once God put His hand on it - it will be okay We know something good is going to happen when we follow Pray and then go on through the day with God and He will provide and bless. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * June 23, 2013 Minister Chris Coleman When we are born - we are called How many times do we say to God "I need all/more"? We take the blessings and leave God behind. I can't take God's blessings and live in the world. God's promises are sure. God will give you what you ask for- but you need God to handle it. Luke 15:11-31 11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. 25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. 28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. 29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: 30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. 31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. Verse 17 - When he realized what he had done!!!! We jump ahead of ourselves and God already has a plan. verse 21 - We feel like this - once there we can't go back. As Christian we are to help others back to God. We are going to mess up - we have to have a repentive heart. God ain't going to chase us - You can always go back to God when you realize you did wrong. verse 25 - Why do we get mad when people come home? It's our job to hug, love, show them we are here for them. Verse 31 - He didn't ask for any of it. There is an up and down side to asking. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * What is stopping you from your goals? Matthew 9:20-30 The woman with the issue of blood knew what she needed to solve her issue. First, she went to the world to solve it, but it didn't work. We have issues that stop us from meeting our goals. What is your issue? What are you seeking to solve that issue? We must seek for the answers. If it means change then we purpose to change. Step by step getting closer to the goals that we have in life. The woman with the issue of blood was stepped on and pushed while she was going to her answer. Be willing to be stepped on. Be willing to be pushed aside, but don't let anything stop you. - Minister Christopher Coleman November 25, 2012 BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU
October 21, 2012 Minister Christopher Coleman Youth Night Exodus 12:1-7 (Passover) And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. We get on this track of life and we forget what we are here for. You start losing it when you start trying to change others. Moses had his life together = God was telling Moses to not forget about His people. We shouldn't forget others. Our job is to bring others with us. Moses had everything, but God was telling him to leave it for other. Our choices bring our own plagues on us. Pharaoh refused to let God's people go. This world is Pharah refusing to let other people go. When we change our lives - it starts a vision. We need the Moses spirit - we are Moses' Plagues are out there already set. We have to go get people. They are being held back from their vision and from their lives. At this time in the Word the Passover was present. during the Passover the blood that was put on the post said that the world can't enter here, its mine, there is vision here, there is life here, you can't enter here, there is an anointing here. Our daily life we should remember that and must have mind set. To truly grow - you have to know where you are going. You have to be willing to purge the unlevened and constantly have that call on your life. Devil wants to keep you in a bubble so he keeps you in a state of ignorance. Where he is in control where and what comes into your life. You have to work and grow out of it. Ask: Why are we here? Everyday simply action change lives. Share yourself and what God has for you with other to change other lives. Every minute keep asking yourself "Why am I here?" "For whom am I here for?" BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU!!!
WORKING FOR THAT CHANGE Minister Christopher Coleman Sept. 23, 2012 Deut. 28:1-14 Last time I spoke on Changing the inside Today - Working for that change Let talk about baseball: Baseball: its just a ball; its just a game; end of day its still just a ball and game. Fathers push sons to be athelic because of what it teaches. Team practice is more than playing game. In practice you change - you perfect the skills and tasks. Same goes for faith - you practice to get stronger to meet the goals you have set. You look around and there is no change - so you ask “why” Things can change if you use what you have been given. The tolls you have been given are important. Faith without works is dead. A will to succeed is a must ot have. A will to practice is a must. Sometimes you have to leave others by the wayside. People will see you change and know to say close because they will go places with you. Each practice the goals should be to get higher than last practice. Always moving. Always growing. No standing still. Every level has negative speakers. Its okay to push - its ok to go to a better place. Shoot to always advance. Don’t let others or self hold you back. Take God everywhere and you know that you will be good. God will make things happen wherever you are. Everyday you make better. Don’t be scared to use what God has given you.
Sunday 6/24/12 PM Service Minister Chris Coleman Luke 19:1-10
It's important to know your value and worth. It's bad when we dont tel others what others are worth to God. Zacchaeus was not liked at all. He was the chief tax collector. Zacchaeus wasn't sure of his worth. God knows when you are searching for something and searching for Him. Zacchaeus didn't say anything till Jesus looked up at him. Can't let the world tell you what your worth is. Let God show you your worth. We have to know what god says our worth is - as long as you are established in God, you will be ok. God first and apply Him to your life. Everyone is worth something. Verse 9: This day- the day he searched for, seeked Him, not tomorrow. Zacchaeus was lost.
Don't let this world tell you what you are going to be. God's Word is truth. He will prosper you. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Inspiring Words from Ms. Edna 2/2/12
God is moving us on He is leading the way A way we have never gone before There are mountains to climb There are valleys to cross But before us we can see an open door.
